Using the tools

How does URLPull work with a submitted URL?

It validates the link, checks whether the source belongs to an explicitly restricted provider, and attempts supported generic analysis. If accessible assets are identified, available delivery options depend on technical, legal and operational limits.

What URL forms should I try?

Start with a direct public HTTP(S) file link or a publicly accessible webpage containing ordinary links to files. A valid URL is not a guarantee that the server exposes a downloadable asset. Check the individual tool pages to choose the appropriate input type.

Why does a public webpage sometimes produce no file?

The page may expose previews instead of original files, require JavaScript or authentication, use expired links, restrict third-party requests or include streaming formats the generic tool cannot process.

Can URLPull bypass logins, paywalls, DRM or private accounts?

No. URLPull does not authorize bypassing access controls. A restricted source must be accessed through a separately approved, owner-authorized integration when one exists.

Provider and access policies

Is the URL recognition table a promise of downloads?

No. Detecting a provider hostname only identifies a possible capability family. Download permission, preview availability and account-authorized export rights are assessed separately.

Can I use it as a public TikTok or YouTube downloader?

Do not assume that. Public provider downloading is restricted unless explicitly authorized. The Supported Sources page states current capability limits without pretending a platform approval.

Sessions, privacy and account exports

Does URLPull permanently save every file?

No general permanent file archive is promised. Some operations create temporary delivery output or operational records with cleanup and retention limits. Consult the Privacy Policy for categories and the deletion page for requests.

What happens to session or diagnostic information?

Essential session identifiers, abuse-prevention and service-health events may be processed. The precise data and retention depend on the active operation. Never include passwords, tokens or other sensitive access credentials in submitted URLs or support messages.

How do I request access or deletion of personal data?

Use the Data Deletion instructions and include enough context to locate your own request without providing account passwords. The listed privacy mailbox requires operator verification before legal publication.

Why is an account-authorized export different from a URL tool?

A generic URL tool handles eligible public addresses. Account exports require verified owner consent, scoped provider APIs, secure session handling and separate platform review; a public link does not grant any of those permissions.

Is TikTok Login Kit already available to everyone?

No. The basic-identity review path is restricted and off by default. It uses user.info.basic only if separately configured for an authentic reviewer consent flow. Data Portability is not available in TikTok Sandbox.

Which tool should I choose for a page with multiple file types?

Use Website Media for mixed media inspection, Download Files from Website for ordinary linked files, or a content-specific tool when the expected asset type is known. Compare their input forms before starting.
